"I have been involved in many events in Baumholder for over 30 years, both as an organizer and as a helper.

The idea of the Genussmarkt came to me when I visited the market breakfast in Mainz. You don't just visit the weekly market there, but meet up with friends to spend a few pleasant hours with delicious food and wine. I now want to bring this atmosphere to Baumholder with the Genussmarkt.

Further ideas are already being planned. A Halloween event and a whisky or wine tasting are set to follow this year.

Pleasure hike ending at a gourmet market

Under the guidance of Ms. Silke Heinen, a certified hiking guide, participants will discover the fascinating beauty of nature over around 10 km and gain very special insights into the surrounding area.

The hike ends with a special highlight: the gourmet market on the Baumholder market square.
